We set off for Malmo Sweden on the 10th of May, joined by an amazing team from the BBC, we had 8 days before the big night to rehearse, go through stage plans, styling, choreography, lighting, sound checks, not forgetting emergency dentist appointments, just a few drinks, and maybe a couple of late nights.

When the big night arrived the nerves had really started to build, not helped by someone actually pointing out that including web viewers, we would be performing to 600 million people, Bonnie was cool as a cucumber, maybe slightly distracted by the hundreds of interviews and picture requests.

Now with everyone ready in their outfits, in ear monitors connected, instruments checked, we were ushered on stage, it’s an atmosphere we’ll never forget, the crowd were amazing, the venue echoing chants of ‘Bonnie Bonnie!!’ It flew past in what seemed like seconds, the adrenaline was flowing all night, it was a great end to an amazing week, and we’ll be sad to leave Sweden and such an amazing group of people.

Bonnie absolutely smashed it, and we are so proud to be part of the UK Eurovision team!!

This morning we were up early at BBC Radio 2 with Bonnie Tyler, to perform an acoustic version of ‘Believe In Me’ on the Terry Wogan Show, it was great practise for the big day, and fantastic to meet Mr Wogan again.

Soccer Six is the worlds biggest celebrity football tournament and has featured everyone from Robbie Williams and Rod Stewart to Oasis and Blur since beginning in 1995.

This year the charity partner will be Hearts and Goals, the official charity of Fabrice Muamba, who is attending and will go towards purchasing defibrillators for sports clubs, community centres, busy public spaces etc. Having access to a defibrillator is ten times more effective than CPR, for every minute that passes without a defibrillator chances of survival reduce by 14% so it is essential more defibrillators are accessible in public places.
